Noun

옘병 (yembyeong) (hanja –病)

  1. (originally dialectal) Alternative form of 염병 (yeombyeong) (see usage notes below)

Usage notes

edit

This is originally a dialectal form of 염병 (yeombyeong) via umlaut.

However, in modern usage, this form has gained popularity regardless of the dialect specifically for the "commotion, hubbub, ruckus, misbehavior, uncouth activity" sense of 염병 (yeombyeong).
