ππππππ
Faliscan
editEtymology
editPossibly an inflected form of Faliscan *πππππ (*pordo), itself fromΒ πππ- (por-, βforβ) +β *ππ (*do, βI giveβ). See πππππ (dedet). May have originated as a reduplicative that lost its medial syllable. Bakkum argues that it is more likely an aorist.
