Etymology edit

Inherited from Proto-Turkic *buka (bull). Cognate with, Hungarian bika, Turkish boğa (bull), Uzbek buqa, Bashkir Буға (Buğa, Taurus). Compare also Mongolian бух (bux), Manchu ᠪᡠᡴᠠ (buka, ram), possibly Turkic borrowings.
