This one-handed ASL sign is produced as follows:

  • Posture the dominant hand in the “I” handshape about half an arm’s length in front of the shoulder, dominant palm facing forward and extended fingers pointing up.
  • Move the hand to the next posture.
  • Posture the dominant hand in the “I” handshape about half an arm’s length in front of the shoulder, dominant palm facing back and extended fingers pointing toward the contralateral side of the body.
