Usage notes

• This verb is used to form the future tense of verbs. The verb gonya is placed before the verb it modifies. For example, in the sentence mi showxa (“I speak”), gonya would be placed before the verb showxa (“to speak”), forming the sentence mi gonya showxa (“I will speak”). In case auxiliary verbs denoting grammatical tense occur (specifically, ando, finyish and tili), gonya is placed after them, e.g. mi ando gonya showya (“I will be speaking”).
