Participle of Binyan pu'al, the passive of Binyan pi'el. For adjective usage, compare English -ed.

מקוטל / מְקֻטָּל (m'kutál, məquṭṭāl) (feminine מקוטלת / מְקֻטֶּלֶת, masculine plural מקוטלִים / מְקֻטָּלִים, feminine plural מקוטלוֹת / מְקֻטָּלוֹת)

  1. -ed. Used to form adjectives from verbs in pi'el indicating the end result of the verb.
    שִּתֶּף (shitéf, šittep̄, join) → ‎משותף (m'shutáf, məšuttāp̄, joint)
  2. -merous; -tuple
    1. Indicates things that have a certain number of parts or members.
    2. Indicates things that are a certain number of times as much.
