  • NOTE: The actual adjective endings used by everyday speakers are quite irregular and vary from one to another. For example, many speakers include a final -e in adjectives whenever they are in attributive position, regardless of gender and case. The above relationship is proposed based on the existing declension of adjectives in standard German and other varieties and adapted to the expected endings in a regular evolution of Rhenish and Palatine dialects. For speakers who use a system close to the one proposed here, it is common for at least the at least the -er ending is simplified to -e.
