Category talk:Mandarin idioms in simplified script

Someone who knows how needs to harmonise this category with Category:zh-cn:Idioms/Category:zh-tw:Idioms, as well as work out a way Idioms can be incorporated into context tags. Eventually I'd like to see Idioms as a PoS header be removed indefinitely and replaced with Noun, Adjective, Verb, etc, like we do in English and other languages. Just a comment or two (perhaps partially tangential)...First, I'm not arguing for a (linguistic) Chinese exceptionalism, but I'm not entire sure if Chinese idioms can be neatly classed into noun, adverb, etc. Having a distinct part of speech for "idioms" seems consistent with Chinese linguistic usage, wherein the same "unit" (an idiom) can be used as a free standing sentence or as an adverb/adjective etc. Secondly, is there any way to fix zh-tw into something broader (?), since Taiwan is not the only place that uses traditional characters...--达伟 16:56, 9 March 2010 (UTC)
