Donaldisme
Norwegian Bokmål edit
Etymology edit
Donald Duck + -isme, first part from English Donald Duck. Last part from French -isme (“-ism”), from Latin -isma, -ismus (“-ism”), from Ancient Greek -ισμός (-ismós, “forms abstract nouns”), from the suffix -μός (-mós, “forms abstract nouns”), from Proto-Indo-European *-mos or *-mós (“creates action/result nouns from verb stems”).
First used in writing by Norwegian author Jon Gisle in his book Donaldismen ("The Donaldism") (1973).
