- (obsolete) Georgia (A transcontinental country in the Caucasus region of Europe and Asia, on the coast of the Black Sea, often considered to belong politically to Europe)
- Men sedan Ryssland 1801 tagit Grusien i besittning, måste det söka förvärfva äfven Dagestan, som skilde Grusien från Ryssland samt försvårade och hotade förbindelsen mellan båda länderna.
- But since Russia in 1801 had occupied Georgia, it must seek to acquire also Dagestan, which separated Georgia from Russia and obstructed and risked the connection between the two countries.
