Help talk:Appendices

Latest comment: 3 years ago by BrightSunMan in topic Are appendices ment to teach languages per concept?

I have just removed the transclusion to Appendix:Contents/Index from the top of this page. I did so because this page's primary use is as a transclusion itself into the Category:Appendices page. All of the items mentioned in this abbreviated "index" are already included in the full list in the Category page. Having them listed twice on that page but in different formats just looked silly.

This page is used a few other places within Wiktionary but I don't think it will create significant confusion because the text still clearly links to the full category list. Rossami 05:24, 5 August 2006 (UTC)Reply

Not "all"

edit

What exactly falls into this list? It is clearly not all appendices, and appears to be truncated after the P's. Having this at the top of Category:Appendices is somewhat confusing—why are there two different lists of "all" appendices, why are some items missing from one and some from the other? —Michael Z.

Bit of a mess

edit

This could do with an update, In fact, it's generally a bit short on content. Mglovesfun (talk) 08:38, 19 April 2010 (UTC)Reply

Are appendices ment to teach languages per concept?

edit

So appendices aim to teach readers about specific concepts in each language, hence basically teaching the language. Can somebody clarify/confirm this? BrightSunMan (talk) 19:51, 3 January 2021 (UTC)Reply

Return to "Appendices" page.
