@RcAlex36: Yes, she does. And the Chenghai accent lacks bilabial finals while the Chaozhou accent has them. Listen to how she pronounces 十. It's zap8 in Chaozhou but zag8 in Chenghai. The dog2 (talk) 07:15, 6 August 2020 (UTC)

@The dog2: I doubt it's still the case that Chaozhou has -p/-m. From what I've read, they have disappeared in Chaozhou (at least for some people). Did she say zag8 for 十 in 0:19 and 0:24? RcAlex36 (talk) 07:17, 6 August 2020 (UTC)

@RcAlex36, The dog2: The video does say 潮州人 (which could be a synonym of 潮汕人, but 潮汕人 seems to be more common nowadays). If her location is Chaozhou, then it's probably Chaozhou, since Chenghai would be under Shantou. — justin(r)leung _{{ (t...) | c=› }} 07:50, 6 August 2020 (UTC)

@RcAlex36, Justinrleung: 潮汕人 is more common in China, but 潮州人 is more common in Southeast Asia when you want to refer to Teochew people in general and not specifically people from Chaozhou. That said, she has several videos where she introduces some of her local food, and one of them was on a very famous street in Chaozhou (牌坊街). The dog2 (talk) 16:01, 6 August 2020 (UTC)
