- @Justinrleung Verified in 漢語方言大詞典: 果 ❷ 〈名〉荔枝。粤语。广东开平赤坎 [kua⁵⁵]. I guess it becomes “THE FRUIT”, when they really love their lychee. Wyang (talk) 20:59, 20 November 2017 (UTC)

- Oh damn, maybe not then. This list gives 荔枝 for the Kaiping dialect, and this says it's "黎姿(第3声)". Maybe it was a person who loved lychee too much they interviewed for 珠江三角洲方言調查報告. Wyang (talk) 21:19, 20 November 2017 (UTC)
