A river in Powell River, Powell River, Regional District of Powell River, Sunshine Coast, British Columbia, Canada, whose source is Powell Lake, and whose mouth is on the Salish Sea; Both the river and its source, the lake, are named for Israel Wood Powell, 19th-century Commissioner of Indian Affairs for British Columbia.
