- (regional: Low Prussian) day laborer who is not indentured to anybody and who does not live in a rented accommodation (Losmann); freeman, laborer, day laborer who is not indentured to a master but does live in a rented accommodation (Frîmann); rural laborer who is not indentured to anybody
