PIE root spelling?

@AshFox: I think the origin of the hydronym should be Proto-Indo-European *ḱlewH- (“to cleanse”) (with a laryngeal in coda), not *ḱlew- (“to hear”). The later is probably unrelated? I suspect that Luchik has followed the classical orthography from the time of IEW, that's why he gives the root as *ḱleu-. 2A02:C7C:3848:1700:B4D4:FB5:F48D:25D1 14:35, 26 May 2024 (UTC)
