Shadean (plural Shadeans)

1. (literature) A proponent of an interpretation of Vladimir Nabokov's 1962 novel Pale Fire according to which the character John Shade wrote not only the poem, but the commentary as well, having invented his own death and the character of Kinbote as a literary device.
