     Nergens ter wereld waarschijnlijk wordt een auto, hoe oud en versleten ook, zo gewaardeerd en begeerd als in het land der Skipetaren. Hier voldoet zelfs een Trabant. Decennia lang was gemotoriseerd vervoer voorbehouden aan gepriviligeerde partijbonzen.

     There is probably no place in the world where a car, no matter how old and worn out, is so appreciated and coveted as in the land of the Shkypetars. Here, even a Trabant will do. For decades, motorised transport was the preserve of privileged party bigwigs.
