Sundaily (not comparable)

  1. (nonce word) Every Sunday.
    • 1915, Rev. B. E. Bergesen, in Synod for the Norwegian Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, Beretning om det Synodemoede, p. 75.
If the "reformed" (non-Lutheran) denominations believed in the power of the word of God by its own inherent life to convert men, why send for sentimentalists to sing people to tears, and sensationalists to shock them to excitement, thus to assist the Holy Spirit with human and modern man-made schemes, why do they allow their pastors to speak Sundaily on "the questions of the day," and call in an "evangelist" once in a while to preach Christ?
