No Vahagn, NK pîj if from earlier pij and cognate with CK pirj(oll). It is clear it is cognate with NP porz (Persian -rz vs Kurdish -(r)j).

Kurdish pûş: hay, dry grass; dry leaves; unmowed grass that grows in a meadow

Kermanic pūš: powder of medicinal plants for circumcision wound

Persian puš mostly pušâl: chaff, excelsior, packing, padding, sawdust, splint, splinter, straw
