@Shad Veyosiv, I'm a little confused here. I've heard both treyf (with the inflection as given here) and treyfn (we need the entry), but I've not heard inflected forms like *treyfne, and I don't see why they would belong here. —Μετάknowledgediscuss/deeds 16:16, 20 May 2019 (UTC)Reply

I've never heard טרייפע being used as an adjective, טרייפנע all the time. I made a quick google search, and טרייפ[ע]נע had much more results than טרייפע. --Shad Veyosiv (talk) 17:07, 20 May 2019 (UTC)Reply
@Metaknowledge, I was just thinking about it, and I think the explanation is quite simple: the Hebrew word is טריפה, not טריף. So the original adjective was probably טריפה'נע, and that evolved to טרייפענע and טרייף. --Shad Veyosiv (talk) 17:23, 20 May 2019 (UTC)Reply
