Are you sure the second hamza is not elided due to the first hamza? Just like it is آمن in the past and not أأمن. --WikiTiki89 15:02, 13 February 2017 (UTC)

The traditionally correct form is indeed ūmin; however, most people now pronounce it u’min by analogy with the other non-past forms.
