Keep. I think there is no obvious way of grasping that (literally) “expression code” means “emoji”. Perhaps this was intended to be a request for verification, as the most common Arabic term for “emoji” is now the loanword إيموجي (ʾīmūjī). However, a Google Image Search shows that this term too is used to refer to emoji.  --Lambiam 21:45, 30 November 2019 (UTC)Reply
Keep, yeah. The word رَمْز (ramz) literally means "symbol" here, not "code" (I'm not sure why the entry only currently shows the latter meaning, I'll fix in a sec), but I agree — "symbol of expression" is directly inferrable from the definition of "emoji", but "emoji" isn't directly inferrable from a literal reading of "symbol of expression". My vote is to just add a sense with {{&lit|ar|رَمْز|تَعْبِيرِيّ}} and leave the "emoji" sense as is. M. I. Wright (talk) 07:45, 1 December 2019 (UTC)Reply
