The Hindustani transliteration of this word

@AryamanA, I think it better that the transliteration of the Hindi and Urdu word reflected the pronunciation, so it should be "hriday" in stead of "hŕday". You may change it if you agree. —Lbdñk (talk) 15:00, 8 October 2019 (UTC)

@Lbdñk: For Urdu I agree "ri" makes sense. However, for Hindi I feel that we should aim for representing orthography correctly as well. Also, some dialects do not necessarily pronounce it "ri"; I have heard "ru" also. —Aryaman^{A (मुझसे बात करें • योगदान)} 01:09, 11 October 2019 (UTC)
