@AryamanA This template has two "Bengali script". Earlier the 1st one was called Assamese but somebody changed it to "Bengali". Even the Bengali Unicode block mentions that "Assamese script" is another preferred name for the script. This Assamese variation is used in Assam for Sanskrit. There's no reason to call it Bengali. There's already the Bengali variation. Msasag (talk) 12:47, 13 August 2020 (UTC)
