Prakrit edit

@AryamanA, just wanted to know which Prakrit language has been used by Turner— is it Sauraseni, or any Prakrit chosen in random? —Lbdñk (talk) 20:40, 11 December 2019 (UTC)Reply

@Lbdñk: It is usually Maharashtri (this is by far the favourite Prakrit of ancient grammarians so it's convenient) but sometimes he lists terms from other Prakrits too. When in doubt it is good to check another resource like Pischel or Woolner. There aren't many good comparative Prakrit dictionaries unfortunately. —AryamanA (मुझसे बात करेंयोगदान) 23:30, 11 December 2019 (UTC)Reply
@AryamanA: Since, as you have said, the Prakrit given by Turner is not always Maharashtri, could you provide the links to the other resources. What Prakrits do those use?
Also, could you kindly go through the earlier pings which you have left unanswered? Thanks, —Lbdñk (talk) 17:09, 12 December 2019 (UTC)Reply
@Lbdñk: Those have all of them, to vary degrees of documentation. I am quite busy these days with university applications and related things but come the new year I will look through everything. —AryamanA (मुझसे बात करेंयोगदान) 18:58, 22 December 2019 (UTC)Reply
