Wouldn't it be 三絃 in traditional form? 24.29.228.33 02:14, 15 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

No. Apparently it's just a variant. Tooironic 09:53, 3 February 2010 (UTC)Reply
It seems that Taiwan MoE recommends 三絃 for Taiwanese Hokkien. Maybe this could be noted. Hongthay (talk) 04:04, 30 October 2016 (UTC)Reply
I think they are just inconsistencies in character choice. — justin(r)leung (t...) | c=› } 05:11, 2 November 2016 (UTC)Reply
Descriptive vs prescriptive may apply but allow me to note: TDJ uses 絃. Taiwan MoE for Mandarin 胡琴 refers to Minnan 絃仔、大廣絃 but Hakka 弦仔. Hongthay (talk) 03:58, 25 October 2017 (UTC)Reply
@Hongthay: Still, it's just inconsistencies between the recommended characters. — justin(r)leung (t...) | c=› } 20:48, 28 October 2017 (UTC)Reply
