Pronunciation of 牛丼 edit

@Justinrleung I actually find that there's a difference here with regards to Mainland and Taiwan. Taiwan tends to lean towards Japanese, pronouncing it as dòng, as far as I know. Then in the Mainland, some want to pronounce it like dōng, but some want to pronounce it per pronunciation of the original character, so niúdǎn. I'd appreciate more sources for this, if you know some. --Mar vin kaiser (talk) 14:42, 11 January 2020 (UTC)
- @Mar vin kaiser: I'm just looking at videos for this. Admittedly, most (if not all) of them are from Taiwan. Why do you think people pronounce it as dǎn? Is it from the Wikipedia page or somewhere else? — justin(r)leung { (t...) | c=› } 17:41, 11 January 2020 (UTC)

剛在食其家要一碗什錦海鮮丼，“丼”用普通話說的dǎn（< tomx，集韻都感切，“投物井中聲”），服務員居然聽不明白。。。難道我得讀jǐng纔行？
