Spanish Diego must be, at least, a cross of Latin Didacus and Iacobus, because you need to explain the -d-. Iacobus would have given *Yago o *Yego, or if it is from Santiago, then Tiago or maybe Tiego. --El Mexicano (talk) 11:33, 28 January 2016 (UTC)Reply
