Why is an unmarried Englishwoman the chosen picture for Frau?

At the time the picture was taken (2010) Dame Jessica Ennis-Hill had not married Andy Hill and was not yet a Dame (2017). Also, she's not German. Surely, of all the people to represent this German term, someone of German extraction who is perhaps married or otherwise appropriately referred to as Frau (through some other status), would be preferable.
