'Heft' - the handle of weapons and tools? edit

Shouldn't that meaning be listed as well? It's not uncommon and even part of the phrase "Das Heft in der Hand haben/halten" (being in charge / in control of the situation).

Defined in terms of French word? edit

cahier?

I wanted to ask the same thing. Is cahier really used in English? Ferike333 10:32, 15 November 2009 (UTC)Reply

Not in the same sense, as far as I know, and not even according to our own entries. I'm so meta even this acronym (talk) 00:44, 18 May 2013 (UTC)Reply

Usage notes edit

This is just flat out wrong. The word Heft is in everyday use in the context of school notebooks (https://www.amazon.com/Schulheft-liniert-Lineatur-Seiten-Blatt/dp/1709141778)

Return to "Heft" page.
