this isnt just child speak like the other 400 similar sounding words we have (peppu, poop (possibly two different words), etc)? the letter /p/ is one of the first sounds we learn and our bottoms are one of the first body parts we need to be aware of, so its no surprise that words like this would be formed independently many times. admittedly peppu is from perse, but at least thats a native word. has Podex ever been common in households as a word for buttocks, as opposed to the medical field?
