Pronunciation?

edit

Anyone knows how is Tintin pronounced in French? In Spain we say "tintin", with the "i" being like the one in "sit", but in French "i" before "n" is pronounced as a nasal "e" (like in "bench", but nasal). Since this is a name, though, I'm not sure if it's also pronounced like that or not (proper nouns are often exceptions in English, for example). Anyone knows? 10 years later but just in case anyone stumbled in here... It's indeed like you would imagine in French, [tɛ̃tɛ̃]. Note French pronunciation is very regular, almost as much as Spanish. And by the way, Spanish "i" is not like "sit" but like "seat" (even if slightly shorter), but in my experience many Spanish speakers don't differentiate them. 2A02:AA13:8105:2500:807E:1495:8D45:1427 07:25, 15 August 2017 (UTC)Reply
