Irish adjective

The tidy split between noun "one" and adjective "any" seems a little too simple. The adjective can be used with amháin and in combination with other numbers to mean "one", e.g. aon bhád amháin or aon bhád is fiche. With the definite article it also means "one" or "only", e.g. an t-aon bhád a bhí aige. It can also mean "one" or "same" in expressions like d'aon ghuth. Can't commit to fixing this up right now, so thought I'd just flag it here.

Hmm...come to think of it, shouldn't the noun include the meaning "ace" as well? ☸ Moilleadóir ☎ 15:18, 16 May 2010 (UTC)
