Not sure about this one. fr.wikt has avoir les chevilles qui enflent, which sounds better)

You're right, this phrase does not exist in French. But avoir les chevilles qui enflent does exist, and may lead to the use of avoir les chevilles grosses comme des.... This does not make avoir les chevilles grosses a French phrase. Lmaltier (talk) 22:22, 15 February 2014 (UTC)
