It's the term used by Yellowhair in the illustrated dictionary, in reference to a shaker for black pepper (along with a salt shaker). 71.66.97.228 08:18, 7 August 2012 (UTC)

Many cultures use the same term for chili pepper and black pepper (like "pepper" in English, "jiao" in Chinese, or "tieu" in Vietnamese), but there are always qualifiers that distinguish between the two. So it probably does exist in Navajo for black pepper or black peppercorns. 71.66.97.228 17:26, 7 August 2012 (UTC)
