Slang Meaning edit

If somebody is a "douche" or "douchebag" it generally means that the person is mean, cocky, a "tool", a "jerk", etc. Not stupid. I have never heard anybody call somebody a douche because they thought they were stupid. It's always like, "Ryan is such a douchebag for hitting on my girlfriend." Not, "Ryan is a douchebag for failing English."--Atticus2020 20:35, 6 July 2006 (UTC)Reply

I think one could apply "stupid" to "hitting on my girlfriend" types of statements. But I see what you are saying. How would you word it instead? --Connel MacKenzie T C 20:38, 6 July 2006 (UTC)Reply

Verb Sense edit

This seems to be missing a verb section; but is it a verb, or is that just colloquial? --Connel MacKenzie 22:12, 18 August 2006 (UTC)Reply

In my experience, the verb 'to douche' = to use a douche as described in the first noun sense. I suppose it could be colloquial. --Versageek 22:21, 18 August 2006 (UTC)Reply
Return to "douche" page.
