What language is the sentence quoted? The fadas in it go to two different directions, and are quoted in both lanugages. To me, it looks more like Irish; am I correct? 62.128.42.30 07:09, 1 April 2008 (UTC)
- No, it's Scottish Gaelic. Scottish Gaelic used to use both acute and grave accents (though since the most recent reform it's only supposed to use grave accents, so Móraig should really be Mòraig). Indicators that it's Scottish Gaelic and not Irish include the unstressed syllable ending in -aich (would be -aigh in Irish), the spelling chd (would be cht in Irish), and the grave accent in tòir (Irish uses only acute accents).
