The only durably-archived hits I can find on Usenet are two that use the term as a jocular counterpart to gentlemen and substitute for ladies. - -sche (discuss) 16:14, 17 April 2013 (UTC)
- Cited as a jocular/informal form of (deprecated template usage) gentlewoman. I took the liberty of making that sense the definition of the term, as the original sense included by the entry's creator seems uncitable. Astral (talk) 22:21, 17 April 2013 (UTC)
