Noun?

i thought hoke was a noun ? — This comment was unsigned.

The verb has more evidence and seems older. Not too many other dictionaries think it's a word. Could you give me an example of its use in a sentence that conveys its meaning as you have heard it? DCDuring TALK 22:59, 21 September 2009 (UTC)

why not the past tense of hike...

Don't you native speakers ever feel the need to use this form as the simple past of hike? Like that of ride or drive: hike, hoke, hicken or even huck (like snuck). Like "Have you ever huck here before? Yes indeed, I just hoke there yesterday!" Adam78 (talk) 14:55, 7 June 2023 (UTC)
