You are onto something.
As in "Hot-sheet motels provided the ultimate accommodations for the clandestine affairs of a traditionally Catholic nation." The entry might best be at hot-sheet motel, with a redirect from hot-sheet hotel.
Somewhat related is hot bunk, as in "Hot-bunking is when three shifts of sailors share the same bunk because there isn't enough space aboard ship (or sub) for each man to have his own bed."
But we do have no-tell motel and no-tell hotel.
