editIsn't this also a slang term (adjective) referring to motels used for brief sexual liasons? 173.88.246.138 20:05, 24 September 2023 (UTC)
- You are onto something.
- As in "Hot-sheet motels provided the ultimate accommodations for the clandestine affairs of a traditionally Catholic nation." The entry might best be at hot-sheet motel, with a redirect from hot-sheet hotel.
- Somewhat related is hot bunk, as in "Hot-bunking is when three shifts of sailors share the same bunk because there isn't enough space aboard ship (or sub) for each man to have his own bed."
- But we do have no-tell motel and no-tell hotel.
- Do we need room by the hour while we're at it? DCDuring (talk) 23:41, 24 September 2023 (UTC)
