Pronunciation

The IPA pronunciation of "hurt" currently reads /hɜɻt/, but isn't that a rather specific accent? Chiefly in the Midwest or so I've read. GA would be /hɜɹt/ (dictionary.com with corrected /ɹ/) or /hɝt/ (Cambridge) and Webster even says /həɹt/ (corrected /ɹ/). I'm going to change it to /hɝt/ (for US), if someone out there knows better, please correct.
