That pronunciation sounds pretty dodgy. — This unsigned comment was added by 66.162.254.21 (talk).

Not to my ear. Why don't you record it, upload it to commons (identifying region) and link it here, so we can hear how your region's version is different? --Connel MacKenzie 23:35, 17 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

Missing definitions

edit

Pretty sure that we need more than one definition for this. I removed the French definitions as they both equate to ignorance in English, just we don't have the English yet. Mglovesfun (talk) 23:55, 15 March 2010 (UTC)Reply

Syn precision

edit

I removed "stupidity" as a synonym for ignorance. Ignorance describes a lack of understanding or information but should not imply anything derogatory the way stupidity does.

Ignorance (of the law) is no excuse (for breaking it)

edit

(Proverb) Someone cannot use their lack of knowledge as an excuse for doing something wrong or illegal. A: "Officer, I had no idea there was a curfew around here." B: "Well, ignorance is no excuse." Backinstadiums (talk) 18:08, 26 July 2022 (UTC)Reply
