Talk:kiesen
For the proof that the variation in present tense "kiesen" and past tense "koren" is a genuine phenomenon and has nothing to do with a mixed paradigm, read the wikipedia article on Grammatischer Wechsel (a German term used in English as well). It actually mentions the verb, which was cêosan-curon-coron in Old English. (In modern "choose" the variation has been eliminated.)
