Why Moving?
editHi @TatCoolBoy. Thank you for moving this page to ꦏꦿꦺꦴꦠꦺꦴ. I write Javanese words here mostly in the Roman alphabet for one reason: so any Javanese capable of English can learn their own language; the language is now getting forgotten by younger generations. I also attach the Javanese script (Hanacaraka) in each entry I created so they can learn a bit of the Javanese script.
I avoid write them in full Javanese script because Javanese has already stopped using Hanacaraka since 20th century although they still learn it a small portion at school and put it on road signs in several cities in Java, Indonesia. However, in practice they are now writing in the Roman alphabet. Language Institution also encourages people to write in the Roman alphabet. By shifting any Javanese entry here into fully Hanacaraka, I am afraid the content would hardly be readable to them. Wirjadisastra (talk) 01:53, 2 August 2017 (UTC)
