Thread and filament

Are there terms for silk thread (the kind used for weaving) or silk filament (the kind produced by silkworms)? 71.66.97.228 07:57, 5 September 2012 (UTC)

They don’t have silkworms and don’t use silk for weaving. They use sheep’s wool. I doubt that anyone has seen a silk thread or that they speak of it. Maybe they could say chʼosh bitłʼóól if they had to talk about it. —Stephen ^(Talk) 08:05, 5 September 2012 (UTC)
