Why not add plural-specific translations here?

edit

In padres:

<!--do not add translations to this page; add them to "padre" instead-->

So what do I do with a sense of the plural form where the English translation of the plural is not the same as the plural of the English translation? For instance, Spanish padres can mean "parents" (incl. mothers and fathers), but seems to mean so only when used in the plural form. How should a meaning that applies primarily to the plural form be expressed? Compare hermanos, which covers both "brothers" and "siblings" meanings. --Damian Yerrick () 04:38, 27 July 2006 (UTC)Reply
