English terms wanted

edit

Both Danish and German (maybe also Faroese) use it also for taste. What is a "round" taste in English? In German it can at least also mean something like "harmonical" (about music) and the contradiction, when saying "es geht rund" (there is a lot of trouble or it's very busy) -- Arne List 10:44, 16 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

German "rund" = slang for "drunk"

edit

In my day (ca. 2010) in the Rhineland "rund" meant "drunk". For example: "Heut Abend mach ich mich richtig rund." (Tonight I'm gonna get really pissed.) Can't attest it, but if anybody can, or at least knows it too, your help is appreciated. 77.11.189.125 19:18, 3 February 2021 (UTC)Reply
