Issue with New Slang

edit

@Ysrael214 We gotta be careful with new slang, as it needs to fulfill the attestation of criteria of three attestations spanning more than a year in publications. The reason for this is that we don't record every new fad term that exists, like "amalayer" or "boom panes" or "sinotto" (before it meant something like plagiarized?). Anyway, some of these may fulfill the attestation criteria but I'm just explaining the reason why the criteria is important, in order to filter out fad words that come and go so fast. As for this, maybe you could help look for publications for quotation. Mar vin kaiser (talk) 10:20, 1 December 2022 (UTC)Reply

@Mar vin kaiser Sana all has been around for years now (around 2019 or 2020 I think) and 2022 is even coming to a close but it's still thriving. Ysrael214 (talk) 10:28, 1 December 2022 (UTC)Reply
@Ysrael214: Based on personal experience, I'm aware of that, but it still needs to be documented, especially with new slang. --Mar vin kaiser (talk) 10:35, 1 December 2022 (UTC)Reply
@Mar vin kaiser I'll add quotations later. I already found a few. Ysrael214 (talk) 10:37, 1 December 2022 (UTC)Reply
@Ysrael214: Thanks. Also, I don't think "sana lahat" is a synonym. "Sana lahat" doesn't convey the same slang expression as "sana all". --Mar vin kaiser (talk) 10:47, 1 December 2022 (UTC)Reply
