Talk:skeuomorph
Potential alternate form
editHey! I'm not familiar with editing wiktionary pages so I thought I'd just include this in the discussion. I came across a from of this word (at least I'm pretty sure it's the same word) while looking into the art of psyanky. It's spelled "skevomorph" or in this case "skevomorphic" and was used to refer to man-made object motifs in the art form. The author of the webpage where I found it sourced it with a writer named Mykhail Selivachov. I found it on the page http://www.pysanky.info/Symbols_NEW/Scevomorphic.html, I'm not sure which of their books the word was found in or how much info would be needed to add it to this page, but considering the rising popularity of pysanky it would likely be a useful inclusion.
